Songwriting Workshop with Mary Gauthier:
“The Healing Power of Songwriting”
Mary will give a short lecture on the art and craft of songwriting, discussing melody, structure, lyric writing, courage, honesty and truth, then pull the curtain back on one her songs, “Mercy Now”, bringing the class along for a detailed explanation of how that song was written. In the process, you will be handed valuable tools for your songwriting tool kit.
Mary will take questions, then listen to students songs, offering feedback, if wanted. The purpose of this class is to increase your overall understanding of songwriting and give you a deeper understanding of why we write.
SONGWRITERS OF ALL LEVELS OF EXPERTISE WILL LEARN TO:
